Downtown Phoenix restaurant goes viral for massive lunch sandwiches [Video]

PHOENIX (AZFamily)—A downtown Phoenix restaurant is going viral for its massive sandwiches on house-made bread.

First and Last opened three years ago near 3rd Avenue and Roosevelt Street. Their eclectic menu includes cocktails, pasta, seafood, salad, pizza and desserts.

But what’s captivating the eyes and taking over the screens of social media users is First and Last’s huge lunch sandwiches filled with fresh meat and veggie ingredients.

“We were always looking for good sandwiches in downtown, and we decided to expand but do something that’s more approachable for lunch, so we came up with this focaccia sandwich program, and it’s been very well received,” said owner Ashley Hammond.

The sandwiches have names inspired by the TV show Seinfeld, like The Little Jerry, Rochelle, Rochelle, Bob Sacamano and Puffy Shirt.
