Most beautiful, interesting and innovative new buildings, designs sought in Mississauga [Video]

With the theme “Reflections and Visions” in mind, Mississauga will soon set about recognizing the best in architectural and design accomplishments Canada’s seventh-largest city has to offer.

Submissions are open for the 2025 Mississauga Urban Design Awards, which will pay tribute to the most innovative, interesting and inspiring projects to recently land within the city’s borders.

City of Mississauga officials behind the awards describe the latest program as one that “celebrates the accomplishments of the city’s past, while also looking ahead to the exciting opportunities for growth and transformation that will shape the future.”

Under the theme “Reflections and Visions,” the latest competition will accept nominations until April 18. The city “is calling for innovative and impactful urban design projects to be considered” for this year’s awards.
