K&W Cafeteria has shut down effective immediately [Video]

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A cafeteria chain in Wilmington has permanently closed.

A sign posted to the doors of K&W Cafeteria by management explained that due to lengthy renovations, they were unable to continue operations at the site.

“We want to express our sincere appreciation to all our guests and the community that has supported K&W over the years. Your loyalty and patronage has meant the world to us,” management stated.

K&W officially closed its doors on Dec. 31.
