Suspect in double murder located deceased by Calgary police [Video]

The suspect in a double homicide that took place in Calgary on Sunday night has been discovered dead by police.

Calgary police have cancelled an emergency alert for an armed man they say is a suspect in the double murder of his wife and her father after locating the man on Monday afternoon.

In an update, police said that at 3:40 p.m., they received tips from the public in relation to the suspect’s vehicle, which was spotted parked along a road in the Water Valley area.

Upon arrival, police located the suspect nearby, dead.
