Recently On “Wake Up With Dee” Host Dr. Dee Dawkins-Haigler spoke with president of the National Coalition of Black Women (NCBW) 100 Cecilia Anderson about the organization’s ongoing advocacy efforts.

She highlighted several initiatives, including educational advocacy, voting rights, HIV/AIDS awareness, and programs addressing domestic violence and human trafficking. Anderson also shared upcoming events, such as a leadership retreat and partnership with local schools to expose young girls to STEM and STEAM opportunities.

Reflecting on the holidays, Ms. Anderson emphasized Christmas as a time for rest, reflection, and spending quality time with loved ones. She expressed excitement for the upcoming year and the continued work of NCBW to serve the community.
