Police search for man accused of strangling his pregnant partner [Video]

OXFORD COUNTY, Maine — The Maine State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man accused of strangling his pregnant partner. 

The Southern Field Troop is searching for 41-year-old Dusty O’Brien, according to a social media post by the Maine State Police. He allegedly strangled his partner Tuesday and then ran from his residence before police arrived. 

O’Brien is wanted for domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence reckless conduct, and violating conditions of release. He is out on bail for a separate domestic violence arrest, police said.

Police did not say where O’Brien is from. However, they said he is known to frequent Porter and other parts of Oxford County.
