Greensboro community mourns officer’s death [Video]

GREENSBORO, N.C. — As the investigation into Officer Michael Horan’s death continues, the Greensboro community is coming together to honor his memory with a growing memorial outside police headquarters.

Residents have been visiting the memorial to pay their respects, leaving flowers, notes, and heartfelt tributes. Among those paying tribute was Greensboro City Councilman Zack Matheny, who brought his children to the site.

“I hope as a community we can put our arms around each other and love each other a little more,” Matheny said. “I said the same thing last year, and I hate that we have to say it again.”
