Community steps-in after Topsfield family loses home, pets to fire Boston 25 News [Video]

TOPSFIELD, Mass. — On Monday, a huge display of community support took place at Masconomet Regional High School for the Harlor family, just two days after the family of five lost their home and pets in a fire.

For eight years, Adam Harlor has been a volunteer coach for Masco’s Youth Football Program. Those who’ve had the opportunity to know and work alongside him have seen his dedication to the sport.

“It’s seven days a week. It’s dealing with the children. It’s dealing with the parents. It’s making sure there’s lights on the field, and he did all of that,” explained Evangeline King, a close family friend.

That’s why the community instantly jumped in to help when they heard about the family’s misfortune, “How can we help Adam now? He’s the last guy in the world that would ask for anything from anybody,” said Masco Youth Football President Tony Bertone.
