68 Ventures Bowl festivities kick off with Mardi Gras-style parade [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – We’re just six days from the 26th Annual 68 Ventures Bowl.

The bowl festivities kicked off Sunday evening with a press conference and parade through downtown Mobile.

This week’s matchup will be against Arkansas State University and Bowling Green State University.

“We are thrilled to welcome back both Arkansas State and Bowling Green State Universities to the city of Mobile in what promises to be an action-packed matchup between these two opponents,” said 68 Ventures Bowl President Jerry Silverstein.

Both coaches got the chance to meet up face-to-face before the meet-up on the field.

“The bowl season is everything for us. to be able to go and play and play in a great bowl game like this this was a destination that we spoke about,” Butch Jones, Arkansas State University Head Coach said.

Bowling Green State University Head Coach Scott Loeffler echoed the same comments.
