A witness told Bowling Green police Friday afternoon that a pedestrian had been struck by a train in the south end of the city, according to a press release.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — A person was found dead in Bowling Green Friday afternoon after a witness reported to police that a pedestrian had been struck by a train.
The witness called the Bowling Green Police Division shortly after noon and stated the pedestrian had been struck by a train near Napoleon Road on the south end of the city.
Police and fire crews responded and found a dead male, according to a press release from authorities.
The Wood County Coroner’s Office and CSX Transportation have been contacted.
The incident is under investigation.
