Blount Co. church receives building from local congregation [Video]

BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – Sonny Sanders of the Rock Creek Church of Christ says members had their faith tested in many ways following the accident.

This is after police say a car ran off the road last week and hit the church building causing it to catch fire. Sonny says the church was overwhelmed with the total loss of the building, but their spirits were lifted by the outpouring of love, prayers and support from neighboring communities and congregations within the area.

Within six days of the fire, he says the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ in Warrior offered their building as a permanent home after shutting their doors a couple of months ago.
