Shout! Studios Reveals Panda Bear in Africa Digital Release [Video]

From Shout! Studios and Shout! Kids in collaboration with Cinema Management Group, the animated feature Panda Bear In Africa will be available for rent or purchase on all major digital platforms in the U.S. and Canada on January 28, 2025.

Based on a story by filmmakers Richard Claus (The Little Vampire, AINBO: Spirit of the Amazon) and Karsten Kiilerich (The Little Vampire, Ruby and Raggie), the film follows Pang the panda on his quest to save his best friend Dragon from kidnapping lions. Claus and Kiilerich direct from a screenplay by Robert Spackling (Gnomeo & Juliet, The Queen’s Corgi).

The international co-production is from Cool Beans (Amsterdam), Katuni (Amsterdam), A. Film Production (Denmark), Comet Film (Germany), and Le Pacte (France). The film was screened as part of the Official Selection in the 2024 Annecy International Film Festival.
