Coastal Bend Food Bank to host food distribution in Robstown [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — For those in need of a little help getting everything onto the table this holiday season, the Coastal Bend Food Bank has you covered.

They’ll be holding a large food giveaway at the Richard M. Borchard Fairgrounds in Robstown on Friday. 

The event starts at 7 a.m., but community can start lining up as early as 5 a.m. to receive two boxes of food per car. There will be enough holiday food boxes handed out for one thousand cars.

With that many vehicles expected to come through, Robstown Police Chief Mike Tamez is already making plans to keep things running smoothly.
