Mattawa Police Department looking for witnesses to Dec. 14 shooting incident [Video]

MATTAWA, Wash. – The Mattawa Police Department is asking for potential witnesses to a shooting incident that occurred on Dec. 14 to come forward.

According to a press release from Mattawa PD, crews were dispatched at approximately 3:15 to reports of multiple shots fired on the 100 block of Columbia Avenue in Mattawa.

A suspect fired multiple shots into a vehicle with two inside. The occupants were able to escape and report the incident. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted in collecting evidence on scene.

Mattawa PD has identified the shooter as a 20-year-old, Mattawa resident, but they have not been located.
