Vigil honors 3 Lourenco family members killed in crash near Turlock [Video]

Jennifer Lourenco was a teacher at Sinclear Elementary School in Ceres, where a vigil was held Monday afternoon at the same location where she would often greet her students coming into school for the day. 

The event was filled with emotion as school officials, family and friends gathered to remember Jennifer and her family.

“Right now we’re heartbroken as a community, Ceres Unified and Sinclear Elementary School, and we’re just grappling with this tragic loss and trying to process and cope with it,” said Ceres Unified School District deputy superintendent Dan Pangrazio.

At the vigil, he shared Jennifer was a second-grade special education teacher who loved her students.
