FEMA closing Greene County recovery center Dec. 14 [Video]

In a press release Thursday, FEMA said operations at the Greene County Courthouse/Annex, located at 204 N. Cutler Street will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 14.

If people impacted by Helene are still in need of assistance, help is available by phone, online or in-person at any other Disaster Recovery Center.

The FEMA Helpline can be reached at 800-621-3362. Lines are open from 7 a.m. yo midnight Eastern Time and specialists speak many different languages. 

You can update FEMA about changes to your personal information by visiting FEMA’s assistance website. 

You have until Tuesday, Jan. 7 to apply for assistance.
