New Hampshire State Police, New Hampshire Fish and Game, and New Hampshire Marine Patrol have all been involved in the search.
DURHAM, N.H. — Law enforcement officials in New Hampshire are trying to locate 24-year-old Alexis Garcia.
The University of New Hampshire student was last seen by friends on Thursday, Nov. 21, Durham police said in a press release issued Nov. 27.
Police said they were asked to conduct a welfare check on Garcia after his vehicle, a black 2021 Mercedes, was found at the Scammell Bridge rest area located off Route 4 in Durham.
Durham police determined that the vehicle was parked at that location and unoccupied from 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, until Tuesday, Nov. 26, when it was secured by the department.
Officials describe Garcia as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is originally from Illinois and has ties to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force ROTC.
