Shaye Marefat is the Manager of Student Engagement in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Since accepting a secondment into this position, Shaye has greatly improved the experience and engagement for all students within the Faculty. Her innovative initiatives and relentless dedication have received widespread positive feedback from students, academic and professional staff and the broader Curtin university community.

In addition, Shaye has demonstrated her dedication to the equity cohort by working closely with the University equity teams and University centres in rural and regional areas. Shaye has demonstrated remarkable leadership and creativity in several key areas. Shaye is very approachable and incredibly efficient in handling the day-to-day tasks and managing the needs of our students. She is also flexible and responsive inunique and challenging circumstances.
