Morgan City Man, 9 Other Louisiana Men Charged with Targeting Children on Social Media KQKI News [Video]

A Morgan City man has been charged with targeting children on social media. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations, Office of the Louisiana Attorney General, Louisiana Homeland Security Investigations, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office charged a total of ten Louisiana men in the investigation

Among those charged is 36-year-old Charles Scott of Morgan City. Scott was charged with one count each of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles and Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor.  He was processed into the Livingston Parish Detention Center

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said, ‘These 10 individuals on various social media platforms were seeking out underage children in our parish. During these investigations by our LPSO ICAC Division, arrest warrants were obtained for all 10 suspects and they were successfully taken into custody.
