Brown County Stadium District looking to restart lease negotiations with the City of Green Bay and the Packers [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay and Brown County Stadium District has called for Lambeau Field lease negotiations to restart between themselves: the Green Bay Packers and the city of Green Bay.

The Packers announced in October that they would be ending negotiations with the city and engaging only with the stadium district.

Shortly after, the common council backed Mayor Eric Genrich and called for the Packers to continue negotiations with the city.

The Stadium Board’s Executive Director, Brian Dworak, says the board had a productive conversation amongst themselves and they believe that all parties need to be at the table to continue Lambeau lease talks.

Dworak says the conversation led to board members agreeing on priorities for the district as they move forward in the negotiations.

Dworak believes restarting with all three groups will help get everyone back on the same page.
