Lifeguard registration now open in Buffalo [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Lifeguard certification and training session registration is now open in Buffalo. Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon, in partnership with the City of Buffalo Division of Parks and Recreation and the Police Athletic League of Buffalo, announced on Tuesday a new round of Lifeguard Certification and Training Sessions in the City of Buffalo is open.

 “The City is looking for 100 City youth to train and become a certified lifeguard,” Deputy Parks Commissioner Andrew Rabb said. “This is a great opportunity for our young people to not only get certified as a lifeguard in Buffalo, but to secure a good paying job now in advance of the summer season.”
