A New Orleans businessman has sued the New Orleans City Council amid an ongoing battle over a trash contract in the French Quarter. Troy Henry’s company, Henry Consulting LLC, has sued the council, according to online court records.This comes after the city is now looking for an emergency trash contractor after Henry couldn’t reach a deal with a subcontractor and councilmembers. According to the lawsuit, Henry is suing the city council for taking away the bid because of “unfounded allegations.”Henry says he has a right to choose the subcontractor he uses and said he switched to a new company called “Clean Force” after he could not reach an agreement with Richards.
