Pickerington woman hosting ‘Walk for Humanity’ as a display of unity for central Ohio community members [Video]

COLUMBUS, Ohio — One Pickerington woman is on a mission to unite her central Ohio community. 

Kathleen Minor is putting together a display of unity in response to the Nov. 16 neo-Nazi march that made its way through the Short North. 

“We need to take this horrible event and turn it around into something that can be really positive for a lot of people,” said Minor. “We can have different viewpoints, and that’s OK but, ultimately, we should be supporting each other.”

The “Walk for Humanity” is designed to show support for those in the central Ohio community who were disturbed by the event which saw a group wearing black clothes with their heads and faces covered march down North High Street while carrying flags with swastikas on them.
