TWIN FALLS — A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit the owner of Radio Rondevoo filed against an insurance agency regarding an policy it sold mere months before the building went up in flames.
Another lawsuit, still active, alleges an insurance carrier of arbitrarily reducing the amount he received as a settlement.
Radio Rondevoo was an iconic building in downtown Twin Falls. Constructed in 1940, it hosted multiple community events and at various times held radio stations, a skating rink and a ballroom was completely destroyed April 12, 2022 in an early morning fire.
The state fire marshal’s office didn’t determine a cause of the blaze.
