People flocked to Market Street in Camp Hill to light up the community Christmas tree, meet Santa and listen to live music.
CAMP HILL, Pa. — Despite gusting winds and freezing temperatures, people took to the streets of Camp Hill for the annual Holiday Evening Stroll.
“It feels like a Hallmark Christmas, like the Norman Rockwell Experience,” said Craig Hatch.
Camp Hill Police closed off parts of Market Street on Thursday night for the annual holiday event. Families from across the borough came out to light the community Christmas tree, shop at local businesses, listen to live music and take pictures with Santa.
Some said the weather made the event feel like a winter wonderland.
“A week or so ago it was warm, but now it definitely feels like Christmas,” said Christine Hatch. “We’re just missing the snow.”
