Rising country artist Austin Tanner is facing the consequences of his actions. Normally going to the CMAs wouldn’t get you into legal trouble. But Tanner was already in legal trouble and risked jail time to attend the prestigious country music event.

The Alabama country singer fled Orange Beach, Alabama for Nashville in November to attend the CMAs. Now, he’s having to live with the consequences of that decision. After posting to social media at the event, Tanner got a warrant out for his arrest.
Now, a Mobile County judge ordered the rising country artist to wear an ankle monitor. He must wear the electric monitor because violated his bond. He’s basically under house arrest. The singer can’t leave his home except to go to work, doctors appointments, court appearances, or to go to church.
