Police, Fire department Dogs get shout out from Corpus Christi [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Like the old saying goes, “Every dog has its day.” 

Well, the city of Corpus Christi says that a couple of local dogs in their public safety departments could end up saving the day. 

Justice and Baisa are a Golden Retriever Labrador, respectively, working in the Corpus Christi’s Police and Fire departments to make a difference in the community. 

Justice is a therapy dog who provides emotional support to victims and officers in the CCPD, spreading comfort wherever she goes.

Baisa is a dogg-ed detective and a fire investigation pro, sniffing out intentionally set fires to keep us safe.

The city says the pups are transforming the way public safety officials help care for our city, one wag at a time.
