We offer…

• Classes taught by Certified Diabetes Educators – Nurses and Nutritionists
• Each group class includes 8 hours of diabetes education and 1 hour follow-up over 5 sessions
• We offer education in individual counseling sessions as well
• Spouses and family members are encouraged to attend

We participate with insurance plans. Medicare reimbursement is also accepted.

• Glucose monitoring
• Nutritional management
• Physical activity
• Medications
• Blood glucose monitoring
• Prevention, detection, and treatment of acute and chronic complications
• Goal setting and problem solving
