Spotify Wrapped also crunches your data to compare it to wider listening trends. Once it’s released, many users share their personalized music summary on social media platforms.

This end-of-year campaign began in December 2016 and has been published every year since then. It tends to get released in late November or December but as it still hasn’t hit people’s Spotify accounts at the time of writing, this is the latest it has been released in recent years.

While there is no official date for when this year’s Spotify Wrapped will be live, Newsweek has predicted it will be released on December 5 by looking at the dates it was made public previously.
