WS/FCS bus driver walkout continues for a 2nd week [Video]

As students across the Triad return to school Monday morning, many families will continue to face delays on their morning commutes.26 Winston-Salem/Forsyth County bus drivers called out, affecting 47 bus routes during the morning runs.This is the second week drivers are walking off of the job to figh for better pay and safer working conditions. The district prepared parents for more delays ahead of Monday morning pickup. In a statement they said, “Due to a continued high number of bus driver absences, WS/FCS is asking all families that are able to bring their children to and from schools on Monday. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through this difficult situation.
