London-based matcha drinks brand PerfectTed has launched in Ireland two years after securing investment of £50,000 from Diary of a CEO host Steven Bartlett on Dragons’ Den.
Six matcha latte flavours (original, vanilla, strawberry, blackberry, rhubarb & custard, and jabuticaba) have been made available by PerfectTed at the stores of Oakberry, which is popular for its açai bowls.
The company has tapped into global interest in matcha and health drinks more generally, marketing itself as a health-conscious caffeine alternative to coffee.
“We are beyond excited to launch PerfectTed in Ireland through our partnership with Oakberry,” said Marisa Poster, co-founder of PerfectTed.
“This is not only our first collaboration with Oakberry, but also a historic Irish first for us as a brand. Oakberry’s commitment to health and positivity aligns perfectly with our values, and we can’t wait for customers across Ireland to experience these incredible new flavours.
“Together, we’re bringing something truly special to the Irish market.”
