Downtown Parkersburg celebrates Small Business Saturday November 30th [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – November 30th is Small Business Saturday in Parkersburg West Virginia.

Small businesses in downtown Parkersburg are holding special events, having deals, and special holiday guests throughout the weekend to celebrate.

Some of the events this weekend includes United Way’s Character Breakfast at Discovery World on Sunday December 1st, the annual Holiday Artist Market at PAC 713 Saturday, and the opening of the Parkersburg Art Center’s Artist Tree Exhibit the same day.

Executive Director of Downtown PKB Amanda Stevens said It’s important to support these businesses because they have a bigger impact on the local community than the chain and big box stores.
