TULSA, Okla. — Hundreds of people gathered at Victory Church in south Tulsa to share a traditional Thanksgiving meal and prayer.
The event, open to anyone in the community, was held in the Victory Christian School Cafeteria near 81st and Lewis.
FOX23 visited with some of the people at the meal to find out what they are most thankful for this Thanksgiving.
“I’m thankful that even though my life has been hard this year, I have so much still. I have a home, I have more family here today and most of all that I’m sober,” said Christopher Hobson.
Victory Church also gave on-duty first responders a hot Thanksgiving meal.
