LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Teachers make a difference in the classroom every day, and Mr. Andrew Seuferer of Holmes Elementary School in Lincoln is no exception. A music teacher, husband and father, Seuferer goes above and beyond by leading after-school clubs, directing choirs, and contributing to the community. For his dedication, he has been awarded the 10/11 Golden Apple Award for November.
10/11’s Taryn Vanderford surprised Mr. Seuferer with the award while doing what he loves — teaching music in his Holmes classroom. But outside of that room, he’s the assistant show choir director at Southwest High School and a director for the the Lincoln Boys Choir.
Holmes Assistant Principal Michelle Reinke praised Seuferer’s energy and dedication.
