BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Alabama Humanities Alliance (AHA) is honoring Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Rick Bragg and Emmy-nominated humorist Roy Wood Jr. at its Alabama Colloquium.
The event will take place inside the Jemison Concert Hall at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center on Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. The night will include a conversation between Bragg and Wood.
Executive Director of the AHA, Chuck Holmes, says though the two honorees utilize different mediums and styles, they both are incredible storytellers whose experiences are rooted in Alabama.
