Whitehaven community hosts 28th annual Christmas parade [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A number of holiday celebrations took place this weekend, but one of the largest was in Whitehaven at the annual Memphis Christmas Parade.

It started at Southland Mall along Elvis Presley Boulevard.

The community has hosted this special event for 28 years.

Today, families, community members, and city and county officials all celebrated what makes “The Haven” so special.

We caught up with many paradegoers, including one Memphian who dressed in the Christmas spirit along the parade route.
