Bixby Public Schools starts annual “Spartans Serving Spartans” program | News [Video]

BIXBY, Okla. — Bixby Public Schools started their annual “Spartans Serving Spartans” program to support students and families in need this holiday season.

“We’re incredibly grateful for how our community comes together year after year to lift up our students and families,” said Jessica Jernegan-Villarreal, the Director of School and Community Engagement at Bixby Public Schools. “The holidays are a time to reflect on generosity and kindness, and this initiative embodies the heart of our Bixby Community.”

This year, the program plans to help 338 children.

For those wanting to help with the program, you can either sign up to purchase items and drop them off at the designated site on Dec. 2 or make a direct donation to Bixby’s Parent-Teacher Organization who are helping to organize the program.

You can also donate directly to a school site through the school counselor.
