United Way of Kenosha County has named Sierra Dlamini as its new director of resource development.
In the position, she oversees the county United Way’s education initiatives and marketing and communications efforts. She previously served with Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services Inc.
“When I moved to Kenosha with my family, I had no idea how program-rich this community was. During my six months at KAFASI, I was truly amazed by the breadth of resources available in Kenosha County,” Dlamini said. “This experience inspired me to become more involved in our community and contribute to the incredible work happening here.”
One of her earliest tasks has been to oversee the launching of the Readers Are Leaders program this year, which serves over 100 students in kindergarten through third grade.
