FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle was hit from behind while attempting to control traffic for a tow operator.
A press release states that the on Wednesday, November 20, a ND Highway Patrol vehicle was in the left lane with its emergency lights activated while running traffic control for a tow operator who was removing a vehicle from the median.
During this time, the State Trooper says their vehicle was hit from behind by a Chevrolet Traverse. This caused the Patrol vehicle to be pushed into the right lane, and the traverse entered the median.
ND Highway Patrol says both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to damages. The State Trooper was taken to a local medical facility for minor injuries.
