TULSA, Okla. — The Swan Lake Fountain at Swan Lake Park is operating again after not flowing with water for 25 years.
“Swan Lake has always been a place for families and friends to gather,” said Anna America, the Chief of Culture and Recreation and Parks Director for the City of Tulsa. “The renovated fountain will elevate the park’s ambiance, creating an even more inviting atmosphere for community engagement and enjoyment.”
Swan Lake was one of the first suburban developments in Tulsa and gained its name in the 1920s when swans were introduced to the pond.
“This renovation is more than just beautification; it’s about honoring the history that Swan Lake represents for our community. We are thrilled to restore this landmark for future generations, ensuring it remains a place for Tulsans to gather for generations to come,” stated Mayor G.T. Bynum.
