SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Sioux Falls School Board is wasting no time finding candidates for the school district’s next superintendent.
With Jane Stavem leaving at the end of June 2025, the search is underway for candidates both locally and from elsewhere. That’s where the school board is asking for feedback from the public.
As a part of the search, the school board hired the leadership search firm HYA to find and filter candidates. Board president Carly Reiter said they’ve worked with HYA in past searches, and have been happy with the candidates.
“We have a great relationship with HYA. We’ve used them a couple of times in the past, and have had great candidates and great success. So we’re familiar with their process,” Reiter said.
