Cone Park destination patio back on City Council agenda [Video]

SIOUX CITY — The Sioux City Council will be asked Monday to approve plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated cost for the construction of an outdoor patio project at Cone Park. 

In August, the council awarded a $64,600 consulting services agreement to Bolton & Menk, Inc., of Des Moines, Iowa, for survey, design, bidding and construction services for a destination patio near the lodge at the all-seasons park, 3800 Line Drive.

According to city documents, Bolton & Menk, Inc. has completed plans and specifications for the project, which has an estimated cost of $401,931. 

The project will be constructed utilizing 100% reimbursed grant funding through the Destination Iowa program. The project must be under contract by Dec. 31, per grant guidelines.
