Meet the Real-Life Loves of the ‘Landman’ Cast [Video]

Landman may revolve around the oil business, but the characters still have romance written into their storylines — much like the cast in real life.

Created by Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan, the Paramount+ show is adapted from the 12-part podcast Boomtown. According to a press release, Landman tells “a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs” following crisis manager Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton).

While Landman primarily focuses on the high-stakes oil industry, it also explores personal dynamics with Ali Larter playing Norris’ ex-wife and Demi Moore portraying the wife of an oil tycoon, played by Jon Hamm.

Outside of the show, Thornton has been married to his wife, Connie Angland, since October 2014, while Larter wed her husband, Hayes MacArthur, in August 2009.
