WEST PALM BEACH, FL. (FOX Carolina) – President-Elect Donald J. Trump announced Saturday he has chosen Chris Wight as Secretary of Energy.
In a press release, the president-elect said he is “thrilled” to have Wright as part of his administration and as a member of the newly formed Council of National Energy.
President-Elect Trump said “this Council will oversee the path to U.S. ENERGY DOMINANCE by cutting red tape, enhancing private sector investments across all sectors of the Economy, and by focusing on INNOVATION over longstanding, but totally unnecessary, regulation.”
