TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are looking into photos circulating on social media that show employees of the Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau pointing guns and flashing gang signs at a holiday party.
The people in the pictures are believed to be juvenile probation officers who work for the Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau.
The photos are from a public page on social media and have since been taken down. FOX23 received them from an inside source.
Tulsa Police said this happened at a holiday party. Therefore, if there were any ethical or policy violations, that would merit an internal investigation from the Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau.
FOX23 spoke with Captain Richard Meulenberg with Tulsa Police and what they’re investigating.
“This is one of those, you have state employees who are wielding what appears to be legitimate firearms,” he said.
