Joseph E Lowery Blvd shooting near I-20 E ramp [Video]

ATLANTA — A man is critically hurt after a dispute led to a shooting along Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard on Friday morning, according to the Atlanta Police Department. 

APD said officers responded to the person shot call around 11:50 a.m. at 507 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd in Bankhead. 

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital critically hurt, police said. 

Investigators believe the man got into an argument with a group of people selling water.

APD said they ran away before officers arrived on the scene. Investigators are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
