ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester International Airport (RST) is giving young passengers a chance to learn about cultures in different continents before taking off. RST partnered with Spark Children’s Museum to have exhibits so kids can learn about Chinese, Vietnamese and South Korean traditions.
They have interactive activities such as lion drumming and learning how to use chopsticks. Three of the exhibits are at check in and the other is past TSA security. RST Marketing & Communications Manager Mary Gastner says in the past two weeks they’ve had the exhibits they’ve been a huge hit.
“We’ve heard that children really enjoy playing with it and we’ve seen a number of families interact with the exhibit and enjoy the engagement already,” said Gasner.
The exhibit will be up until next November.
