Millions of Verizon Fio customers reported issues with their internet service starting very early Tuesday, according to an online outage tracker.
NORFOLK, Va. — Verizon has restored internet service after millions of customers reported issues on Tuesday.
The outage left millions of people without the internet. According to Downdetector, a spike in reports started shortly after midnight.
Customers reported problems with 5G home internet, landline internet and total blackouts.
A Verizon representative says that the network has been fully restored.
“A network issue early this morning disrupted service for some Verizon Fios customers in the Northeast for a short period of time,” a Verizon spokesperson told 13News Now. “As soon as the issue was identified, our engineering teams quickly restored the service.”
