San Antonio Zoo lodge allows guest to sleep among the animals [Video]

SAN ANTONIO — The Spekboom Lodge is now allowing guests to stay overnight. Its first guests will be checking in on Friday. KENS 5 got a sneak peak of the lodge that the zoo describes as an “ultra-exclusive overnight lodge.”

Senior Director of Public Relations at San Antonio Zoo Cyle Perez said the lodge allows up to four guests.

“There is a main living space,” he said. “It is a great to spot to hang out having your morning coffee, wine down with board games.”

In the living room, there is everything you would expect to find, including a pull-out bed right next to a view.

“You can sleep right next to the giraffes,” Perez said.
