DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Christmas might still be a holiday away for most, but it began on Wednesday for the Decatur Salvation Army.
They announced their plans for Christmas fundraising events, including the “Un-Masked Singer” event happening later this month and a dinner gala scheduled for December. Their fundraising goal for donations is once again set at $600,000, a goal they surpassed last holiday season. The executive director is hopeful for similar results this year.
